Five Star Golf Cars and Utility Vehicles is experiencing tremendous growth and seeks an Outside Sales Representative to drive fleet sales to golf courses throughout the state of Maine. This position is responsible for managing all golf course relationships within the territory, including developing new business, presenting fleet replacement programs, and managing lease or purchase opportunities for new and used golf carts.
The ideal candidate is a self-motivated, organized, and relationship-driven professional who thrives working independently in a large territory and demonstrates initiative, accountability, and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer experience.
Experience Required
Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of sales and golf business experience.
Proven success in territory-based selling with limited daily supervision
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
Valid driver's license and clean driving record required
Strong organization and time management abilities
Willingness to travel throughout the state of Maine
Understanding of leasing, trade-in, and fleet program structures is a plus
Preferred: Proficiency in DMS tools (e.g., NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics 365)

Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute a strategic territory plan to achieve sales goals and expand market presence across Maine
Prospect, qualify, and close new business while maintaining strong relationships with existing customers
Conduct onsite product demonstrations, needs assessments, and proposal presentations
Manage the entire sales cycle - from lead generation and quoting through delivery coordination and post-sale follow-up
Ensure a positive and consistent customer experience at every stage of the sales process, representing Five Star Golf Cars' brand with professionalism, integrity, and responsiveness
Partner with the Director of Fleet Sales to align efforts with company objectives, sales forecasts, and reporting requirements
Maintain accurate customer and opportunity data within the company's distributor management software (DMS) system
Represent Five Star Golf Cars at trade shows, tournaments, and regional golf industry events
Collaborate with Operations and Service teams to ensure timely and accurate deliveries and exceptional post-sale support
Monitor competitive activity and provide regular market feedback
Meet or exceed assigned quarterly and annual sales objectives

Base Salary: Starting at $50,000 annually
