McCarthy is actively looking for a qualified and dedicated full-time Fleet Coordinator to manage the regional fleet, ensuring we are adhering to the companies policies and procedures. In addition to fleet the position will require strong accounting skills and experience. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment, be able to juggle multiple priorities, and have a strong attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
Fleet Management:
Responsible for ensuring Southern region is adhering to company vehicle policy and communicating accordingly with leadership.
Responsible for the assignment of vehicles and driver orientation with new drivers
Ensure projects are billed for vehicles, fuel, registration, and maintenance charges
Enter new drivers into Fleet Management System & deactivate termed employees
Order fuel/maintenance cards and assign fuel pin numbers
Track and distribute registration renewal, license plates, state transfers and insurance
Manage Motor Vehicle Report & Processing MVR's
Assist drivers with accident reporting and assist with vehicle claims
Track and communicate violations, toll road and parking tickets with drivers
Communicate with HR on auto allowances, new hires, terms and safety violations
Maintain communication with McCarthy National Fleet Manager
Accounting:
Review Fleet Vehicle billing status monthly with Yard Manger
Assist with processing monthly Element Fleet Management invoices
Safety:
Responsible for tracking Yard team MVP's
Monthly walk with Director prior to Monthly Yard Director Safety Meeting
Ensuring our fire extinguishers are compliant
Assisting with property damage reports and compliance
Assisting with overall safety compliance in the yard
Qualifications
Must have 2+ years of similar experience preferably in the fleet or construction industry
Must have excellent computer skills and be able to demonstrate proficiency with MS Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) typing 50+WPM
Must have bookkeeping/ accounting knowledge
Must be able to work in a fast-paced office environment, able to multitask, meet critical deadlines with eye for accuracy and attention to details
Ability to write and communicate effectively
Ability to work with all levels of project staff and organization
